WHAT WE OFFER

Our adult tap classes are designed to create a welcoming, inclusive and  supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable and encouraged to participate. We embrace the motto that you don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great. We provide a mix of adaptive routines and exercises designed for new starters, intermediates or those with experience helping everyone to grow their skills over time. We believe that everyone can benefit from dance, so whether you dance just for fun, for fitness, or as part of a performance group.

A Form of Exercise

Tap dancing is a form of exercise that engages various muscle groups, including legs, core and arms.  The footwork and rhythmic patters enhance balance, flexibility and coordination. As you dance you're not only improving your cardiovascular health but also refining your motor skills without necessarily breaking into a sweat. 

Stress Relief  & Emotional  Wellbeing

Combining your feet with the joy of music , can be incredibly therapeutic. As you immerse yourself into learning a new step or  practice a dance routine, you release endorphins that help uplift your mood and alleviate stress.  

Tap dancing is not just about steps, but also about community.  Our classes offer a fun and supportive atmosphere where you can connect with like-minded individuals, which often lead to lasting friendships. 

You will be helped to develop your skills at your own pace , working in pairs and small groups.

Improving  mobility

Using different exercises and techniques tap dancing will help strengthen and improve the flexibility of ankles as well as strengthening  the thighs, quads and calf muscles. This can help will mobility.

We believe that dancing should be as much fun as it is challenging. Our tap dancing classes offer a safe, non-judgemental space for everyone to learn and grow.  We  will ensure that you learn techniques and routines at your own pace, while instilling a sense of fun and community in every class.
